Hi, I’m Brooke,
I’m on a mission to help retails florist grow their business and ensure their long term success.
Over the past few years, I’ve witnessed numerous floristry businesses close their doors. It’s an unfortunate trend that I find deeply concerning.
10 years ago I started my business, The Posy Post with zero knowledge of the flower industry, zero knowledge of how to make a floral arrangement and zero knowledge of how to run and grow a business.
I applied my knowledge from studying a creative industry in Fashion Design and Marketing Knowledge from Marketing Consumer Operations at multiple football clubs to my flower business and discovered what did and what didn't work.
IIve built my business into a 7 figure business and I want to help others do the same.

“Kindness is one of the most powerful things we can show the people around us. Kindness is one small way to make the world a better place, one act at a time. Spread a ‘lil sunshine, wherever you go.”

Our values
Kindness • Community • Sustainability
Kindness & community
Being kind to others always makes the world feel like a much better place. The act of simply being kind to another person, for no reason at all, can brighten both their day and yours.
You’ll often find us surprising strangers with beautiful flowers at random locations across Newcastle. It makes our hearts sing to know that we’re making someone’s day!
We’ve also created The Kindness Project (formerly One More Smile)
The Posy Post donates flowers, gifts and beautiful message tags every week to a different local community group or organisation, so they can pay it forward to the most deserving people in their community.
We believe that the beautiful act of giving flowers and gifts can change the world and that kindness is what truly matters.
Sustainability
We are committed to navigating the complexities of our industry with a considered and conscious approach. Everything we do considers the people and the planet that we love.
We only purchase locally grown and Australia grown flowers. We also have fantastic relationships with our local growers which means we can request to have no plastic wrapping on flower bunches (which is a huge problem for the industry)
Reducing waste by requesting no plastic wrap from our wonderful growers
Using 100% compostable delivery packaging
Saying no to noxious weeds, floral foam and chemically enhanced or dyed flowers
Air-drying our dried flowers in our studio at Warners Bay
Thank you to our local growers
